M1 Garand NON Beveled Gas Cylinder Lock Springfield "M" Marked

M1 Garand Springfield Gas Cylinder Lock with "M" marking. Post WWII, locks were hardened and marked with an "M" for modified and did not have the bevel at the front that was seen on WWII production locks. Hardening was done for rifle grenade firing as the previous beveled lock used was not as strong enough for grenade firing. Gas Locks are all early 1952-1953 Springfield production from their original Springfield packages.

All show storage as most are greased and collected some dust sine had these in draw for years out of their pacakging.

Locks are appropriate for Post WWII Era Garands but can be used on any era Garand. Several available, select quantity desired when adding to cart.
