Product Description
M1 Garand Beveled Gas Cylinder Lock Springfield Late WWII H Coded
Springfield WWII production M1 Garand Gas Cylinder Lock with the beveled front characteristic of WWII manufacture and Coded with an "H" designating that lock was hardened. This was a very scarce transitional feature at the end of WWII. After the War, gas locks did not have the bevel and were coded with an "M" signifying hardening. The locks were hardened for rifle grenade firing as the previous beveled lock used was not as strong. A very hard to find transitional part. One pictured available.
