Post WW2 gas cylinder lock with "hump." Springfield manufacture and is appropriate for original M1 Garands made AFTER WWII, 4mil and on range. The"hump" on top of these was a design change incorporated to add strength when using the rifle grenade launcher attachment, otherwise these are fine for any era M1. Several pictured available.
