M1 Garand Bayonet AFH w/Scabbard 10" WWII MODIFIED

American Fork & Hoe "AFH" M1905 M1 Garand Bayonet complete with proper "US" marked Scabbard and Wilde Tool brown Bakelite grip panels (Wilde Tool used the brown handle grip with a black stripe, others did not mark grips this way). Blade has US and Ordnance flaming cannonball with 1942 date on blade. This was originally a M1905 16" bayonet that was cut down to 10" as many of the longer original bayonets were modified this way in WWII when the 10" bayonet became standard length. You can tell these modified bayonets by the blood groove which extends to the tip. Shows age but otherwise in Excellent condition.
