We've graded this barrel "Utility Grade" and selling CHEAP because of the Throat gauging a "5" on gauge. This would be considered a "Service/Field Grade" Barrel if throat was less than a 5. WWII Springfield May 1945 M1 Garand Barrel. Barrel is marked "2-S-A-5-45." Finish is 80%+/- with most wear being on exposed area at gas cylinder. Barrel has non chromed Gas Port. Bore is very clean and bright with a Muzzle Erosion (ME) 3.2 on gauge and Throat Erosion (TE) of 5.5 so this is a "Utility Grade" barrel with some shooting life left in it.
