Product Description
M1 Garand WWII Bayonet Springfield SA "Bowie" Tip w/Scabbard 10" M1905 Mod
Excellent condition "Bowie" Tip Springfield Armory "SA" M1905 M1 Garand Bayonet complete with US marked scabbard. Blade has SA and Ordnance flaming cannonball with 1913 date on one side. Other side has US and serial number. This was originally a M1905 16" bayonet that was cut down to 10" as many of the longer original bayonets were modified this way in WWII when the 10" bayonet became standard length. You can tell these modified bayonets by the blood groove which extends to the tip. Shows age but otherwise in super condition. Only one pictured available. Click on image for larger view of actual bayonet. *Note "Bowie" Tipped bayonets are the earliest modified bayonets done during the war and the Bowie tip was stopped soon after since these resembled Japanese style bayonets. Interesting factoid about why they changed the style. Select UPS for shipping option for Bayonets. We will ship these US Postal and correct shipping if cheaper for youProduct Videos
