M1 Garand Barrel Springfield June 1944 WWII ME 3 TE 5.1

WWII Springfield M1 Garand Barrel dated June 1944. Barrel is marked "2 S A 6 44." Finish is 90%+ and looks to be original based on gauge readings and chamber being "in the white." Gas port does not look to be chromed and Barrel has no import marks. Muzzel Erosion (ME) gauges a 3 at best and Throat Erosion (TE) gauges just under "5.1." Bore is very clean and bright with very good rifleing, crown as wear. This would be a good usable restoration barrel for that project rifle as it has life left in it and still pretty good shape for a '44! Click on images for larger views of actual Barrel.
