M1 Garand Barrel Springfield May 1944 ME 2 TE 4.2

WWII Springfield M1 Garand Barrel made January 1944. Barrel is marked 1-S-A-5-44. 85%+ finish overall, probably an old refinish. *Bore is ROUGH and reason for cheap price. Sadly corrosive ammo took its toll on bore. Crown is nice and Barrel has non chromed Gas Port. Muzzle Erosion (ME) gauges 2 and Throat Erosion (TE) gauges 4.2, sadly a poor dark bore. Probably will shoot ok but selling "AS IS" *** ASSEMBLY AND HEAD SPACING BY A QUALIFIED GUNSMITH IS RECOMMENDED!
