Springfield M1 Garand 6 SA Curve Side Operating Rod. Rod has very nice overall finish and Is 90%+ with minor use wear. Tab is excellent and looks to be the original piston which specs excellent at .526+ on gauge. Rod does have the 3/8" stress relief modification cut. One pictured available. A very nice Op Rod for a restoration or shooter. SA Dash 6 Curve Side rods were used from approx Sep '42 thru Dec '43 on WWII M1's(ser# range 1,000,000 thru 2,4xx,xxx). Curve Side Op Rods have a distinctive curve on the hump forward of the charging handle, hence curve vs flat side. Lot of folks ask so thought I'd clarify.
