M1 Garand Milled Trigger Guard WWII Springfield with Code
M1 Garand Milled Trigger Guard, WWII Springfield production with Inspection Mark.
Proper for mid and late range Guards made approximately Spring of 1943 thru Sept/Aug 1944 and have a number or letter stamped in the inside of the Guard. These were reportedly Inspection Marks. The added mark indicated late production as there were two variations of the Milled Guard. Earlier milled guards without drawing number were observed Dec 1941 thru early 1943 and had no markings on inside of Guard
Guards available have original depot finish and have letter or number code inspection stamp on the inside of guard. Most need some cleaning and may have minor surface rust that can be cleaned off, nothing major and no pitting. All avaialble have very good or better Lugs, all perfectly serviceable. Sold individually, samples of guards available are pictured, all will be similar condition.
