We've graded this barrel "Utility Grade" and selling CHEAP because of the Muzzle gauging a "3.7 on gauge and Throat is over a 6. WWII Springfield January 1943 M1 Garand Barrel. Barrel is UPSIDE DOWN marked with upside down "3-S-A-1-43." Very nice finish on entire barrel which may be arsenal refinish. Barrel has non chromed Gas Port and nice pad. Bore is ok and does show some light pitting. Muzzle Erosion (ME) is 3.7/3.8 on gauge and Throat Erosion (TE) of 6.4 so this is a "Utility Grade" barrel that can be shot but better for looking at!
