M1 Garand Barrel Springfield January 1945 ME 0.8 TE 2.0

WWII Springfield January of 1945 M1 Garand Barrel. Barrel is marked " 3 S A 1 45." Finish is good in area that will be exposed, the underwood areas are splotchy (last picture). Barrel has non chromed Gas Port. Bore is bright with nice rifling but has some signs of frost. Barrel Muzzle Erosion (ME) gauges 0.8 with excellent crown. Throat Erosion (TE) is 2.0 so this barrel would make a great restoration and shooting barrel.
