*** ACTUAL Bayonet available is pictured. USGI M5A1 Bayonet manufactured by J & D Tool Co (Jones and Dickinso Tool Compant) for the M1 Garand service rifle. J & D reportedly was contracted for 57k Bayonet late 1954. Bayonet is in Excellent original condition and shows use almost no wear on blade with original edge. A very good condition USGI M8A1 Scabbard with "VIZ" maker code included. The M5A1 Bayonet is correct for all Post WW2 M1 Garands as they were originally produced during the Korean War for ease of use with gloves and continued use through the Vietnam War.
