Early M1 Garand Springfield Follower Assembly with "8" Marking and "Cup Like" marks on breach end. These were seen on M1's made August 1941 thru early September 1941, (ser# range 300,000 thru 325,000). Very hard to find part. Cup marks were not seen on any followers after this variant.
