M1 Garand Checkered Elevation Knob Rear Sight WWII Lock Bar Springfield SA 1939-Dec 1942 use - NEW - MIL-STD

M1 Garand Checkered Lock Bar Rear Sight Elevation Cap. These are new production parts with Springfield SA style closed arrows and are Checkered. Parts are parkerized to original MIL-STD-171 park finish (Mang Phos). These will be darker than the lighter Zinc Phos park finish, see last two pictures for comparison of colors, left is Zinc Phos, right is what these are - MIL-STD-171 park per drawings.

Checkered Elevation caps are appropriate for Springfield M1's using flush nut from start of production to about 450,000 serial number range (thru Jan '42) and Type I sights to approx 1,090,xxx (Dec 1942).
