M1 Garand early WWII production 8rd clip made by Lerio Patent Cup Co. Mobile, AL. Coded with "C" and with side cut outs, these are the first of three variants made by Lerio during the war years. The "C" code without the side cut out followed and then "C*" marked up to 1945. Examples of all three are in last picture, earliest "C" w/cut out top, "C" w/o cut out and late production "C*" bottom.
